This week we have BIG NEWS. We had a baby boy a week and a half ago, QUITE unexpectedly, as he wasn't due for five more weeks! He came very early, caught us all off-guard, and put things in a tailspin, making it VERY difficult to log in a lot of computer time. For this reason, we put off the newsletter for a week, will willingly extend this fortnight's sale for three weeks instead of two (which we do a lot of the time these days anyway), and will not be listing any new products for a while.

Ephemerala's newest "staff member" is named Cedric Dallapè, he was born on April 6, and weighed a trim 5 pounds, 6 ounces. Despite technically being premature, he did well from the very start, only needed oxygen for a few minutes after birth, and is currently behaving like any typical newborn--he eats a lot and wets a lot and cries when he gets his diaper changed! He swims in the smallest clothes (his grandma just sent him "Extra Small" sized onesies, and they come down to his ankles), and has no fat on his little body, but he's strong and healthy.
