Here is a pocket-sized hand-held miscroscope with 30X magnification. The microscope takes two AA batteries, and has a small light to help objects be seen better. (Some items do not need illumination.) Simply turn the microscope on, adjust the aggle of the lightbulb (a lever makes this easy), hold your chosen item to the round window, adjust the focus, and view away! Easy to use with one hand. This small microscope is perfect for our Amber with Insects, or any small gemstone item. This is the miscroscope we use for identifying the bugs in our Amber nuggets, as it gives a good overall view without too narrow of a field, as you might get with a higher magnification. Great for classrooms and for gift-giving when paired with small gemstones or Amber nuggets.
